Mahabodhi IP has recently switched to new servers and the old OpenWebmail browser is not
currently supported, but there are several suitable alternatives available.
Our default mail broswer is powered by "iMailReader" and can be accessed by clicking on
the "WebMail Login" on any page of Mahabodhi IP or by going to the following address:
http://www.imailreader.com/
The "iMailReader" program was developed by BeWide Technolologies and allows you to access other email accounts that you might have other than your account at Mahabodhi IP, but there are several alternatives supported by our servers, including GMail, SquirrelMail, Horde, Outlook Express, Eudora, ect.
If you prefer to use SquirrelMail or Horde, both of which offer multiple language selections, you can go to either
of the following addresses:

Both of these mail browsers are server-side programs and use a pop-up security login window which requests your username
and password, then forwarding you to your email account, but you still MUST use your full email
address for your username, as in the example below:
your_username@mahabodhi.net
Increased Security: If you incorrectly supply your username and password information two times
in a row, the server WILL automatically lock your email account for ten (10) minutes and you
will NOT be able to access your account. If you attempt to login to your account during this
time period, the server will typically reset the lockout time for a longer duration, so
please be careful.
Pop-up Windows: Some links on Mahabodhi IP open in a new browser window. If you are unable to access certain areas of the website, such as your email account or news and blog articles, you may need to disable pop-up blocking software while accessing this website. You can also access your email account through desktop programs, such as Outlook Express,
Eudora, MAC Mail, etc., and the settings for such programs are as follows:
Incoming Mail Server: mail.mahabodhi.net
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.mahabodhi.net (requires authentication)
Incoming Mail Port: 110 for POP3, 143 for IMAP
Outgoing Mail Port: 25
If port 25 does not work, try 26, as some ISPs block port 25.
Your username is the same as when using the online webmail browers --- you MUST use
your full email address. If entering "your_username@mahabodhi.net" does not work, please try
using "your_username+mahabodhi.net" instead.
