World Fellowship of Buddhists - Originally founded in 1950 by representatives from 27 nations, the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) is one of the largest and most influential Buddhist organizations.

  • Berkley: Samatha Buddhist Meditation Classes - Provides opportunities for people to learn and practise samatha meditation, a traditional form of Buddhist meditation based on mindfulness of breathing.
  • Buddhist Association of the United States - Chinese Pure Land Buddhist Organization.
  • Buddhist Brotherhood Assembly of Bangladesh - a pioneering non-sectarian Dharma organization first established in 1982 in Bangladesh by the Ven. Sharanananda Bhikkhu.
  • Buddhist Military Sangha - an online resource and blog for Buddhists associated with the United States Armed Forces.
  • Buddhist Sangha Council of Southern California - Composed of ordained monks, nuns and ministers from all the major Buddhist traditions: Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana, and from all Buddhist ethnic origins: American, Burmese, Cambodian, Chinese, European, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Sri Lankan, Thai, Tibetan and Vietnamese.
  • BuddhaNet's World Buddhist Directory - a directory of Buddhist centers and temples throughout the world.
  • Cedar Rapids Zen Center - promotes the practice of Zen Buddhism in the Soto-Zen tradition by providing opportunities for Zen meditation, spiritual practice, religious study and community fellowship, following the teachings of the historical Buddha as they have been handed down from India through China and Japan to the United States.
  • Dharma Realm Buddhist Association - A religious community with members in the United States and Canada, in Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere. The founder and teacher was the Ven. Master Hsüan Hua.
  • Friends of the Western Buddhist Order Centers in the US - List of FWBO centers in the US.
  • Green Sangha - a spiritual community committed to environmental action, bringing healing to ourselves, to each other, and to the earth through thoughts, words, and actions rooted in love.
  • Insight Meditation Center - a non-residential community-based urban meditation center for the practice of Vipassana or Insight meditation in Redwood City, California, dedicated to the study and practice of Buddhist teachings.
  • Lotus Zen Temple - a non-profit organization incorporated in Nebraska that offers resources and instruction on Ch'an (Zen) Buddhism in the Chinese Mahayana lineage tradition of Hui Neng, welcoming people of all backgrounds and religious paths, offering opportunities for people to practice Zen through its various activities and outreach in Nebraska and beyond.
  • Mid-America Buddhist Association - The mission of MABA is to practice, preserve and promote the teachings of the Buddha in the mid-west of the United States, especially the St. Louis and Chicago areas. Under the direction of the Ven. Ji Ru, MABA supports a monastic community and its lay followers and supporters.
  • Midwest Buddhist Information Center - A directory and guide to Meditation centers in the Midwest. Includes an up-to-date calendar of activities at centers throughout the Midwest.
  • Northwest Dharma Association - Northwest Dharma Association is a nonsectarian Buddhist organization created to support the dissemination and growth of Buddhist teachings in the Pacific Northwest.
  • Rimé Buddhist Centre - The Rime Buddhist Center is a non-sectarian Tibetan Buddhist center located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
